| Well that’s all from us. We’ve completed our residency at Café Uno, and will be sad to leave the shed of funk and go back to work on Thursday. It was great to see so many faces coming night after night, and even better when they were dancing like eejits. We’d like to thank so many people for making our time here as good as it was. Thanks go out to The Café Uno team – your coffee, tea and cake was great, and the dancing was even better! Sam, our sound engineer – for keeping us sounding as funky as possible and not letting us get too carried away with the volume levels. We look forward to working with you in the future (if we’re invited back for another year!) The production team for keeping us laughing with tales of whipped nuggets, the use of their stores and for getting the stage built so quickly on the first day. We’ve already mentioned it, but the catering for the teams is really second to none – thanks guys for your hours of prep work, cheese grating and what must be the world’s biggest pile of washing up. | | |
So, that’s all from us. We’ll be back in the future, with more blogtastic blogs for you. Until next time… |

Last night was our best gig here at Soul Survivor Stafford. Not that we’re here to be arrogant, the crowd told us, they did the Love Train inside and outside of Café Uno. It was like a giant train-like conga! The gig was almost postponed as we fell victim to prank after prank by the production crew. They decided that they’d had enough of our clothes-rail taking up valuable space in their stores, and decided to put their forklift to good use by hoisting it 20foot in the air while we were sound checking! Thanks guys, hope you enjoyed your cookies! During our break we ran over to the main meeting venue and caught 10 minutes of onehundredhours. They were certainly up to their normal high standards. We caught up with Mark Prentice afterwards – who remembered us from when we supported them a few years back. It was good to see you again too, guys. |

About The Rumour
|
|
If you know us You know What we are about. If You Don't know us then this one's for you. 5 insignificant blokes from an insignificant town in the middle of England. 5 Blokes trying to make the insignificant significant once more. Works for me, how about you? Like any band, we've progressed and matured over the years, but this is how it all began...... The band formed in 2005 for a one-off youth event in Walsall. We are five guys with a passion for music and a passion for God. We hope that our funky, pop/rock music carries a message that touches and changes lives. Seeing us on stage is completely different to our album - it's an explosive experience! |
